"Data Fiduciary" refers to FootPro, which determines the purpose and means of processing personal data. "Processing" means any automated or manual operation or set of operations performed on personal data, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, alteration, retrieval, or erasure.

2. TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

We collect personal data for specific, lawful purposes related to providing and improving FootPro’s services. We may collect the following categories of information: information you provide, including full name, date of birth (optional), email address, mobile phone number, profile photo (optional), team affiliation and match data, and payment details (for subscriptions). We also collect information automatically such as device and browser type, IP address, app usage behavior, location data (if permission is granted), and cookies and tracking pixels.

3. PURPOSE OF COLLECTION

Your personal data is collected to register and manage user accounts, enable scoring, analytics, and match-related features, provide premium services and process payments, improve app performance and content relevance, personalize user experiences, prevent fraud and maintain security, and fulfill legal or regulatory requirements.

4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

We collect and process your personal data only when we have a lawful basis to do so under the DPDP Act. This includes consent (clear, affirmative, and informed), contractual necessity (data needed for service delivery), legitimate interests (to enhance product performance and user support), and legal compliance (required by law).

However, despite our best efforts, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and the relevant data protection board as per legal requirements. However, FootPro shall not be liable for any unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure of data beyond our reasonable control, including those caused by malicious third parties.

9. YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA PRINCIPAL

As per the DPDP Act, you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccuracies in your data, withdraw consent, request deletion of your account, and know how your data is being processed. 10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

FootPro is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children without parental consent. If we become aware of data being collected from a minor without proper consent, we will delete it promptly.

11. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.

12. CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS

Your data may be stored or processed in data centers located outside India. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to comply with Indian data protection laws.

13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LINKS

Our app may include links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to external services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
